Alda D. Egurrola-Wienke is Regional Sales Manager at Cvent, Cvent Supplier & Venue Solutions She is a senior hospitality sales executive with almost three decades of experience in the upscale, luxury and group markets in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the United States. Her property background as a (Regional) Director of Sales & Marketing at a luxury US hotel chain is a helpful foundation for the partnerships with larger European hotel chains she currently manages on behalf of Cvent, assisting them on the road to apply the growing importance of the digitalization to increase MICE and corporate travel business revenues. Having worked with US based corporations for many years, she enables a fluid collaboration between that corporate culture and the variety of European mindsets and work methods, adopting to the specific needs of each country to match it with the benefits of the knowledge and experience of an industry leader like Cvent. Alda is a graduate of the Stenden University School of Hotel Management, The Netherlands, and is fluent in Spanish, Dutch, German and English. She is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and an Advisory Council Member of MPI, after having served as EMEA Council Board Member of the MPI Foundation for many years as well as a Board member of the MPI Iberian Chapter. She resides in Bilbao, Spain.
