As Head of Hotel Distribution, Katja is responsible for the design and execution of the Amadeus hotel and meeting and event distribution strategy leading the team that develops and distributes hotel reservation solutions to travel agencies globally. Based at Amadeus Headquarters in Madrid, Katja joined Amadeus in the beginning of 2015, leading activities related to Hotel Suppliers before taking over the responsibility of the full hotel distribution business mid 2019. Prior to joining Amadeus, Katja managed new business acquisition and sales account management for GTA in Spain and Portugal. Previous roles include international sales positions at Transhotel, Paradores de Turismo and Sol Meliá. A native German, Katja also speaks Spanish and English and holds a Degree in Business Administration and English Literature and Language from University of Mannheim as well as a Masters in Sales and Marketing from Madrid Chamber of Commerce.
